The Shirt Tail Stompers have been recognised as one of Europe's best social dance bands. Formed in 2010 for the London Lindy Exchange, they have played numerous dance camps and shows in over 25 countries all over the world.

They have a passion for swing music and movement and an extensive knowledge and experience of social dancing.

Truly appreciating the art of swing and knowing its place in history, they are heavily influenced by Fats Waller, Duke Ellington, Fletcher Henderson, Count Basie and many other greats from the swing and trad jazz era of the 1920s, 1930s and 1940s.

Join us for a small and cozy afterparty at the wonderful Soul Bar, only five minutes by foot from Canisiushaus. Have a drink (we recommend the cocktails…), have a chat with your new dancing friends and let the evening come to a relaxed end listening to some nice jazzy and bluesy music. We will push away some tables and chairs to free up a small Blues dancefloor for us.

Important Note: The parking lot gate in front of the Canisiushaus will be closed and locked every night at 1am until the next morning. If you came by bike it is recommended to take the bike over to the Soul Bar.

Fächerswing stands for a wide repertoire of always danceable, swinging songs. From the 1920s to today, from Blues to Lindy Hop to Shag: what more could a swing dancer ask for?

The musicians from Karlsruhe have set themselves the goal of making music that is specifically tailored to the needs of the Lindy Hop scene.

They present groovy classics of swing music and will thus provide us with the perfect round off our festival!
